Last year (2011) I've spent my holiday in Rome. A beautiful city with great buildings which has to be photographed!
After watching the photo's on my computer I was a bit disappointed because of the flat colours. In reality the sky was vivid blue and the Castel Sant' Angelohad a nice and warm feeling.
Time to open up my favorite editing program; Lightroom. After importing the picture into Lightroom I started to bring in some warmth, using the temperature slider. After that I've used an adjustment brush for a bright blue sky and a different brush for the clouds. A tiny graduated filter from the bottom makes the picture complete. I've saved my settings in a useful preset which you can use for free. Now it's time for you to create a blue sky with this free Lightroom preset.
